Itchy ears? Runny nose? Incessant tummy grumbling? (Oh, maybe that last one's just me...)
Thanks to the fine folks at Dogster and Catster, now you can ask a vet! Dr. Eric Barchas DVM (like bark-us, get it?) answers questions and posts interesting news stories on his blog. I bet he'd even answer questions about strange pet behavior, which makes me think I should ask him why the heck Cleo's always scratching up the furniture.
Of course, if you have an emergency, you should have your human call your usual vet or the local animal hospital right away. Don't take any chances!

my female pet mouse looks rather puffy but we just discovered today that she is dragging her butt around when she walks and won't stand up like our other mouse does. we have thought she has been pregant but we haven't been sure for about two weeks now because her size keeps changing. some days the female is rather large and other days she isn't and looks really boney. today she is looking rather fat and like i said is starting to drag her butt like a dog does. is she about ready to give birth finally or is it something more? please let me know asap.
