Health care for all pets

Just like humans, we need help that ensure that every pet, regardless of breed, pedigree, or the price of their dog bowl, is allowed to live a happy and healthy life. The RIVMA Companion Animal Foundation and In Memory of Magic (IMOM) are two wonderful groups that are just as committed as I am to promoting the health of all pets. They strongly believe that no furry, scaled, or feathered friend should be turned away because they can't pay for medical care.

Our pals over at the Humane Society of the United States have compiled an even longer list of organizations dedicated to ensuring that all pets are given their basic right to health care.

Whether or not your collar happens to be encrusted with diamonds, you can still do your part by simply spreading the word about the great work these organizations are doing, talking to your local vet clinic about establishing ties with such organizations, or even hosting a small fundraiser for the universal pet healthcare cause.
