Live today: Takin' it to the FDA
Okay, crew, today's the big day: I'm going to the FDA's public meeting on pet food standards. You can read more about the meeting here.
You told me that you want the crap out of your pet food, and today I'll be delivering your messages -- in biodegradable poo bags. I'll be making a statement, with the help of my trusty interpreter, and I'll be liveblogging the whole thing right here (that is, assuming the internet holds out and they, uh, let me into the building. Wish me luck.) If all goes according to plan, you should be reading my first update before noon.
But let's say you can't make it to today's meeting, but you still want to tell the FDA a thing or two about pet food standards. You're in luck! Just go to regulations.gov and enter docket number FDA-2007-N-0442. Then you can tell them just how you like your food: free of harmful chemicals and preservatives please!
