Do you guys have any other tips for keeping itty bitty mammals safe and healthy?

Don't keep bunnies and guinea pigs in cages and litter train them. You'll have tons less cleanup & your pets will be happier. Plus pens are much cheaper and durable than cages. Also don't get excessively colorful and fun looking food. It's just more calories and yucky artificial ingedients. and your pet won't need as many toys if you play with them.
